O “CervecerÃa Edrogal“, como reza el rótulo que tienen en la fotografÃa. Aunque realmente este polifacético local sito en Almeiras (calle RÃo Mero, 2), Culleredo, es conocido por todos como simplemente Edrosa, el apellido de su propietario. Y lo califico de polifacético porque ademas de ser bar y restaurante, “Edrosa” es una distribuidora de bebidas, una empresa de mudanzas e incluso un suministrador de combustible para vehÃculos industriales.
Curiosidades aparte, el motivo de dedicarle un post a este establecimiento es la fenomenal comida que me han ofrecido este mediodÃa. Habitualmente, en verano, cuando acabo mi reparto matutino, cruzo hasta Edrosa (mi almacén está justo enfrente), para tomar una cerveza (Voll Damm, doble malta, buenÃsima) y un helado, mientras leo el periódico local (se echa de menos el“Marca”). Pero hoy, tras leer el menú (vean fotografÃa inferior), me ha podido la tentación y he cambiado su apretada barra por una confortable mesa dentro del comedor. Si han leido la pizarra, supongo que estarán pensando que la calidad y la cantidad de lo ofrecido tiene que dejar bastante que desear. Pues se equivocan, sobre todo en cuanto a la cantidad. Les aseguro que no abandonarán Almeiras con hambre. Y en cuanto a la calidad de su cocina, obviamente, esto no es “el Bulli”, pero, por otra parte, ni falta que le hace. Además, en bastantes peores plazas hemos toreado, ¿no?.
En resumen, quizá Edrosa no sea por su corta variedad de productos el mejor restaurante para comer a diario, pero a poco que tengan un poco de suerte con el menú (como me ha pasado a mÃ, hoy), les aseguro que les valdrá la pena acercarse, aunque sólo sea esporádicamente, a esta parrillada situada a apenas 1 km de O Burgo en dirección Santiago. Y si en vez de para comer, prefieren visitarlo por las tardes antes de cenar, conviden a algo al fulano ese que está en la barra refrescando el gaznate y devorando cacahuetes, que el pobre viene de una jornada dura, furgoneta arriba, furgoneta abajo, y seguro que esta vez no ha sacado tiempo para otra “enchenta” de churrasco y trucha.
