321 dÃas para la cuenta atrás. O menos. Porque la fotografÃa fue tomada el pasado jueves 20 de agosto. Asà que tendrán que restar los dÃas transcurridos desde entonces. ¡Ah!, perdón que no les he explicado a que se refiere este cómputo. Alla voy.
No se suiciden todavÃa, que lo que tienen en la imagen no es más que el contador de los dÃas que faltan para que expire el contrato de alquiler del “Universal”, un céntrico café-pub en el que muchos coruñeses hemos desarrollado gran parte de nuestra vida social. El “Uni” fue el primer café “bonito” (de esos retro, de maderita, con camareros modernillos y ambiente mitad pijo, mitad bohemio, y con cierto aire pseudointelectual) de la ciudad, y fue inaugurado, aproximadamente, hace unos 20 años. Y, aunque yo nunca he sido muy partidario de este tipo de establecimientos (prefiero los que tienen el suelo lleno de serrÃn y toneles en vez de mesas), reconozco que, si finalmente tiene que cerrar, lo echaré bastante de menos, y cada vez que pase con mi furgoneta por delante de sus soportales,  me pondré nostálgico recordando mis muchas experiencias, aventuras y desventuras, vividas en este entrañable local de la Estrecha de San Andrés. En fin, que serÃa una lástima su desaparición. Mierda de especulación inmobiliaria.
