El carril único de la calle Juan Flórez

Esta céntrica calle coruñesa, fundamental en el proceso de salida de la ciudad en dirección Alfonso Molina, es uno de los principales puntos negros del tráfico de nuestra ciudad. A pesar de no ser una calle de doble sentido circulatorio, los atascos en Juan Flórez están a la orden del dÃa, motivados, sobre todo, por la presencia de numerosas travesÃas y por una elevadÃsima densidad de vehÃculos, especialmente en las horas de la salida de los trabajos. Pero también responden a otras causas menos justificadas, como la constante doble fila o las interminables obras que proliferan por nuestra querida Coruña. Pero lo que ya no cabe en cabeza humana es que muchas de estas retenciones no respondan a razones objetivas sino, simplemente, se produzcan ¡por costumbre!.
SÃ, resulta sorprendente, pero los coruñeses estamos tan habituados a padecer problemas circulatorios en esta vÃa que, aunque puntualmente no los haya, para nosotros es como si existieran. En nuestro subconsciente nos imaginamos que nos encontraremos coches mal aparcados, operarios y vallas en los arcenes, peatones fuera de las aceras, etc, etc, asà que nos comportamos al volante como si su presencia fuera siempre real (que lo es, en muchas ocasiones). ¿Cómo se explica si no, que, a pesar de que la calle cuente con tres carriles para la circulación la mayorÃa de los automóviles utilicen sólo el que discurre por el centro de la vÃa?. ¿Cómo entender si no las imágenes de esta entrada, tomadas ayer mismo desde mi furgoneta, a eso de las 14:00 h?
