La verdad es que no podÃan haber ubicado esta inspección técnica de vehÃculos (ITV) en una localidad más apropiada. Se encuentra en “EspÃritu Santo”, Sada, justo al borde de la famosa nacional VI. Y sÃ, más les vale encomendarse a la tercera persona de la SantÃsima Trinidad si pretenden obtener en este sagrado lugar, el certificado de apto para su viejo automóvil.
Sangre, sudor y lágrimas nos costó, la semana pasada, a mà y a mi destartalada furgoneta superar las pruebas de las que consta esta revisión. Hasta tres veces tuve que acudir para conseguir la ansiada pegatina que autoriza a mi furgón a circular legalmente durante un año más, al menos. Parece ser que emitÃa demasiados gases (cosas de la edad, ya saben), por lo que, siguiendo el consejo del “amable” revisor que me suspendió en la segunda intentona, desesperado me desplacé hasta la autovÃa A-6 para allà poder pisar a fondo el acelerador en marchas cortas, con el objeto de limpiar y desobturar el carburador y sus conductos. Reconozco que tuve que incumplir numerosos artÃculos del código de circulación para realizar adecuadamente las citadas operaciones, pero resultaron ser mano de santo, creánme. Cuando regresé a la ITV, mi vehÃculo respetaba ya holgadamente la normativa medioambiental. Resulta paradójico: para poder cumplir las quisquillosas normas de la inspección tuve que quebrantar otras tantas, seguramente, mucho más importantes. “El fin justifica los medios”, Maquiavelo dixit.
