La mala pata de Millán Astray

“Muera la inteligencia“, se dice que gritó este militar coruñés del siglo pasado, interrumpiendo una más que sensata intervención de Don Miguel de Unamuno en la universidad de Salamanca. Pues con esta misma sentencia se podrÃa calificar la desafortunada actuación de los jóvenes que, hace un año, serraron una de las piernas de la estatua que le rinde homenaje en su ciudad natal, y que están a la espera de conocer su condena (un año y nueve meses, pide el implacable fiscal) de un momento a otro. Lean la noticia, aquÃ.
Aún reconociendo que el monumento no es precisamente una obra de arte, y que el homenajeado era un personaje que dejaba bastante que desear, el bobo comportamiento de los autores de ese acto vandálico bien se merece que sea ejemplarmente castigado por la justicia. ¿Quiénes se creen esos mocosos imberbes para tomarse la justicia por sus manos (o sierras)?. Quizá no se esté aplicando la controvertida ley de memoria histórica, pero si todos ejecutásemos por nuestra cuenta y riesgo las normas que no se cumplen, mal podrÃamos convivir en armonÃa. Además, Millán Astray, aparte de vengativo fascista y paradójico psicópata (”viva la muerte“, era otra de sus proclamas), fue también héroe y mutilado (perdió un ojo y un brazo, que no una pierna, gamberros ignorantes) de la guerra de Marruecos de 1920, y el fundador de La Legión, una de las divisiones de élite más prestigiosas de nuestras ya democráticas Fuerzas Armadas. Asà que en función de estos últimos méritos, y de que, queramos o no, nació en A Coruña, creo que bien ganada se tiene su fea y cutre estatua de dos piernas.

Oye amigo mío. Eso de que Millán Astray era un “vengativo fascista” o “personaje que dejaba bastante que desear”, no te pega nada. Me cago en la leche Porvén, no me vengas con lenguaje progre que nos conocemos…cualquier día acabas hablando de los gallegos y las gallegas, los alumnos y las alumnas, los ciudadanos y las ciudadanas, etc.

Vaya sorpresa. No imaginaba que esto lo iba a leer nadie. Ya me contarás como lo encontraste. Pero creo que te equivocas, lo de “vengativo fascista y personaje que dejaba bastante que desear” no es más que una mera descripción. No tiene intención peyorativa alguna. Al menos por mi parte. De hecho ves que propongo que mantengan la estatua porque me parece un coruñés relevante. Estaba como un cencerro pero me resulta interesante.
Pero está bien que le defiendas, qué menos se podía esperar de un caballero legionario paracaidista. Otro abrazo, amigo. Cuídate.
Bueno, me he quedado planchada con el lenguaje de “tu amigo Rafa” supongo que será una gran persona para poder soportar que diga cosas como las que dice. Y como amigo mío no es, puedo decir que parece sacado de un anuncio de fachas.
¿Como puede defender a Millán Astray? Alguien que crea un lema tan paradójico como “viva la muerte”, evidentemente , bien, bien, lo que se dice bien, no está.
Ya hablas tú de la famosa anécdota del enfrentamiento con Unamuno en el paraninfo de la Universidad de Salamanca, que no le cor´to los cojones porque no pudo, “muera la inteligencia”. pordió. pordió.
Y tampoco encuentro yo la grandeza de este hombre, porque destacar en la dirección de hombres que se matan unos a otros no tiene mérito a mis ojos. ¿Y que hizo, traducir un par de libros?
Crear la Legión, que parece que os llena de ardor patriótico?
En fin, aunque no estoy a favor del vandalismo, y no defiendo para nada que la gente se tome la justicia por su mano, aunque sea en defensa de la memoria histórica; sí puedo decir que me molesta mucho ver un monumento a ese señor, por muy coruñés que sea.
Otros coruñeses tenemos que mucho mejor si no les hacemos un monumento!

La opinión no ofende, faltaría más. Rafa lo ve de una manera, tú de otra, y yo tiro por la del medio. Y me parece fantástico. Prefiero la controversia y la polémica al empobrecedor pensamiento único.
cuanta mentiras , Millán dijo muera la inteligencia traidora pero esto ultimo no intereso que se digiera propaganda socialista , este hombre Silvio a estado fuera quien mandara y merece un respeto como héroe de guerra , hoy en día es muy fácil ser un progre así te buscan un sitio para poder chupar mas fácilmente
