A veces no hace falta irse demasiado lejos para fotografiar estampas bonitas. Basta con abrir bien los ojos y, como mucho, con levantar la cabeza. Hoy he comenzado mi reparto apenas a 200 metros del local donde trabajo, entregando una caja de servilletas de zig-zag en la conocida heladerÃa “La Italiana“, sita en la muy coruñesa avenida de La Marina. Admiren la bella luminosidad de los edificios que pude retratar sólo con elevar el objetivo de mi cámara por encima de la altura de mis hombros:
Aunque, a veces, además de levantar la vista, también tendremos que girar unos 90 grados para poder seguir inmortalizando imágenes igual de hermosas:
Y si conseguimos alcanzar los 180 grados, lo que tendremos ante nuestros ojos será esta insuperable selección de postales turÃsticas de la ciudad de A Coruña:

La Dársena, y las galerías de la Marina, son, detrás de la Torre de Hércules, creo yo, las estampas más características de nuestra ciudad.
Yo he trabajado ahí mismito durante unos años, y desayunaba todos los dias en el Gastoff. Aprovechaba los dias soleados para estirar las piernas un ratito por la Dársena, y miraba, como tú dices. A veces, haciendo un cuadro con los dedos, enmarcaba sólo un trocito de la Dársena con sus barquitos, y unas pocas casas de la calle de enfrente (la que va a dar más arriba al Hotel Finisterre) y parecía un pueblo. uno de tantos pueblos marineros de la costa. Me gusta mucho más la imagen de “pueblo grande” de A Coruña, que la que se vende ahora de “ciudad cosmopolita”…
Yo nací aquí y me siento más de pueblo que cosmopolita. Por cierto que bien sienta un tres en uno del Gasthof tras una noche toledana.
